Lewisburg, Pa. (February 20, 2008) – Playworld Systems, Inc. announced today the recipient of the first ever NEOS™ Grant program. The recipient, Scottsdale Public School District in Arizona, will receive a new NEOS™, bringing electronic gaming to their outdoor playspace.

NEOS’ intriguing design includes four columns with interactive sound and buttons. The buttons light up in random sequence depending on game selection and provide an exhilarating new way to play outdoors. With nine different games and three skill levels to choose from, one or more players can have their scores recorded, making NEOS competitive and challenging while improving agility, balance, fitness, and social skills.

“We are excited to grant Scottsdale Public School District the opportunity to bring students and the community outdoors where they can actively have fun together and get their hearts pumping,” said Matt Miller, president of Playworld Systems. “The District was chosen to receive NEOS because of their focus on healthy children and physical education. The game will be installed into the district’s Tonalea Elementary playspace which also currently has limited equipment.”
