Product Design
Playworld Systems' designs meet current ADA requirements by offering active and passive accessible play activities at various levels, and by providing unique opportunities for social play.
Our Playground Consultants can help you understand how the ADA applies to you and design a playstructure that meets the requirements and spirit of the law. We're excited about the opportunities these new laws offer for children with disabilities to be actively involved in all the fun and excitement of playgrounds.
Playworld Systems is able to offer stimulating modular play components that allow access to all areas of a playstructure so everyone can play together!
Below are just a few of the many ADA Accessible Activities that are available.

Transfer Station
A transfer systems consists of a ground-level transfer point accompanied by components with rises in increments of 8" (20.32cm) or less.
A Transfer Station is intended to be used one of two ways, depending upon the type of disability:
1) Children can pull themselves out of a wheelchair and onto a play structure.
2) The child is assisted by a caregiver to get out of the wheelchair and onto the structure.
